In-Ground Burial Options

With more than 330 acres of beautifully landscaped land, there are many options available for burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. True to Bishop McQuaid’s vision of Holy Sepulchre as a “garden cemetery,” we have a wide variety of flowering shrubs, evergreens, trees, water features, meditation areas and stunning sculptures throughout the property. Families often add to the beauty of these Sections by planting flowers in front of the burial marker of loved ones.

We have openings for burial in various Garden, Shrine and Veteran Sections. In-ground burial options are available for full casket and cremated remains, ensuring that loved ones can be buried together regardless of individual wishes.

We also have reserved Sections for deceased members of the clergy, women religious and firefighters from our community.

The Garden Sections of the Cemetery are notable because of their extensive natural displays and stone walkways. Manicured hedge lines surround many of these Sections, and flowering trees, shrubs and evergreens ensure lovely scenery year-round.

The Shrine Sections are designed with a large religious stone monument as the focal point. Our various Shrine Sections pay homage to inspirational figures within the Catholic faith.

We have multiple Veteran Sections, where those who have heroically served our country are honored together. Our newest Veteran Section, located along Lake Avenue, features a granite monument with large bronze emblems honoring the five branches (Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard) of the United States military.

A variety of monuments are welcomed at in-ground burial sites, with different policies in place at different Sections of the Cemetery. Please contact us to learn more about in-ground burial options and the types of monuments permitted throughout the Cemetery.
