DESCRIPTION:Since 2000\, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery has paid tribute to the lives of Veterans at our Annual Flag Placement event. This is a large-scale event where volunteers place American flags on every grave within our Veteran’s sections\, totaling 6\,000.\n\n\n\nThis year\, volunteers from Excellus Veterans Network and Excellus BlueCross BlueShield will spend the afternoon placing flags in every Veteran section. The flags will remain up until Flag Day.\n\n\n\nFor those families whose loved ones are not buried in a Veteran section\, complimentary flags will be available in our lobby throughout the Memorial Day weekend.\n\n\nWe invite you to visit the cemetery\, to take a moment to honor those lost before us and to celebrate Memorial Day.

DESCRIPTION:On Monday\, November 2nd\, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery will host a day of Eucharistic Adoration on All Souls Day. During this special time\, the Faithful are invited to pray quietly in the presence of our Eucharistic Lord in the beautiful and historic All Souls Chapel from 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. \nFollowing these hours of Adoration\, a Mass for The Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed\, “All Souls’ Day\,” will be celebrated by The Most Reverend John S. Bonnici\, Bishop of Rochester\, concelebrated by Reverend Aaron Kelly\, and Reverend William G. Coffas beginning at 4:00 p.m. This Mass will be offered for the souls of those buried at Holy Sepulchre and Ascension Garden Cemeteries. \nPlease note\, All Souls Chapel is not wheelchair accessible.
